Mallard Cottage is ideally situated in a very friendly holiday village environment.

The cottage is in a quiet position but can easily access all the amenities. Facilities include a large indoor swimming pool, children’s splash pool, children’s play outdoor area, pitch ‘n’ putt, mini golf, gym, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and laundry room.

There is a friendly bar and restaurant which have both been recently refurbished. Live entertainment is provided on some evenings.

The surrounding areas have excellent walking, running and cycling routes for all levels.

WiFi is complimentary and available in the cottage and around the complex.

The location is perfect for visiting not only the Lake District, but also the Eden Valley and the North Yorkshire National Park.

All of the popular Lakes and mountains are all short distance away and both Blencathra and Ullswater are very close by.

Nearby towns include Penrith & Keswick whilst the historic Carlisle and quaint Kendal are just a little further away.

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed but there are local kennels in the nearby area.
